International Tiger Day is a reminder that protecting tigers means protecting our forests, ecosystems, and the incredible biodiversity they support. Through engaging activities, our Grade 6 students explored why every tiger truly counts.
The celebration began with a fun game on skribbl.io, where students drew endangered
species found in India while their classmates raced to guess them. They then put their geography skills to test by locating major tiger reserves across India on a map, discovering the vital habitats that these magnificent animals call home.
To wrap up their learning, students became young conservationists by creating powerful
headlines advocating for tiger conservation—using their words to inspire awareness and action.
Truly a day filled with creativity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to protecting one of India’s most iconic species!
