Respected teachers and PYP FLAG team,

I am delighted to share some fantastic news regarding the Grade 3 unit share presentation conducted by our students on the topic of ‘Water 360’.

I am thrilled to report that our kids performed exceptionally well during this event. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to the topic were truly commendable. Not to forget, their song lyrics were the best part. They showed all 10 IB learners profiles in this unit share and I am super proud of all the kids.

Here are some highlights of their outstanding performance, just to mention a few:

1. In-Depth Knowledge: The students demonstrated a deep understanding of the various sources of water, including surface water, groundwater, and precipitation. Their explanations were clear and concise, showcasing their grasp of the subject matter.

2. Creative Presentation: The children’s creativity shone through their engaging presentations. They used visual aids, diagrams, and even interactive elements to convey their message effectively. This made the learning experience enjoyable for both peers and educators.

3. Comprehensive Coverage: The presentations covered not only the sources of water but also its diverse uses, ranging from drinking and agriculture to industrial and recreational purposes. This comprehensive approach helped provide a well-rounded perspective on the topic.

4. Confident Delivery: It was evident that our students had worked diligently to prepare for their presentations. They spoke with confidence and clarity, leaving the audience informed and inspired.

5. Interactive Q&A: The Q&A session, especially Kaun Banega Waterpati was superb. And in each session Q & A that followed each presentation showcased the students’ critical thinking skills. They answered questions thoughtfully, demonstrating a deeper level of comprehension.

I would like to extend my appreciation to the teachers Ms Ekta and Ms Abhilasha who guided and supported the students throughout their preparation. Your dedication to their learning is truly evident in their performance.

In conclusion, I couldn’t be prouder of our students for their exceptional performance during the unit share presentation. It is a testament to their hard work and the supportive educational environment we have fostered here.

I look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success in future endeavors. Once again, congratulations to our talented students on this remarkable achievement!

Warm regards,

Dear Wonderwomen of FLAG , I personally think that just a paper feedback given in class would do no justice to the amazing event we witnessed today. This definitely does deserve a praise on email. Rahil and me were so overwhelmed to the amazing event ‘SLC’ we witnessed today at school . Simply put it was FAB ! We were so thrilled to see Inaaya and Musa take the driver seat and take us on a wonderful ride through their unit, share their concepts, their joys of learning, their adventurous field trips, the reflections of their journey throughout the unit. It gives me immense pleasure to see how confidently they spoke – No wonder will be easier to follow their father’s footsteps of becoming a global speaker. They both were fearless today not shying away to share What the world works on and what the world needs to work on ! Who we are ! How the world works ! Becoming the future we all need ! Calling a spade a spade ! Fearless ! Confident ! Go getters ! We were so amazed hearing Musa’s stories of being popular ! Which is such a contrast to what he is at home ! Inaaya being Inaaya made sure we did not leave any section without listening to her entire portfolio and playing every single game mulberry had organised!. Also making sure we clicked a picture at every single decorative stand at the foyer 🙂 Honestly it is an amazing glide through for making children confident and building up their personality and moulding them to become Nothing but the BEST ! NO COMPROMISE THERE !!!! All this would have not been possible without all your hardwork and efforts and paying attention to every single detail ! The vibe was colourful, lively, cheerful, positive and wonderful ! Thank you for always letting us go back home with a smile and an eagerness and curiosity to come back to something amazing the next time ! It was a pleasure being at school watching the children perform in the Choral Recitation. Poetry itself is such a beautiful way to introduce good language to the kids. Infact, choral recitation teaches them how to work together as a team and stick together. The poem was not only appropriately chosen but also very well rehearsed in spite of the time crunch. They recited with clarity, diction, rhythm and co-ordination. It was a wonderful and fun-filled experience.I feel so overwhelmed when l see the school engage the children and parents in so many wonderful activities. I really look forward to all of it.I really love the entire set- up for every event. It’s amazing how you’ll celebrate every small event with so much importance and positivity. It is really a pleasure to be at school. Kudos to the hardwork and effort put in by the teachers and the children. Thank you once again for giving me this wonderful experience, a beautiful start to my Monday morning. Fatema Murtuza Fanuswalla Parent of Zahra Murtuza Fanuswalla Grade 2

Dear Team ,

First and foremost I would like to thank you for letting us witness such an amazing Light & Sound show. Can you beat that these kids are only 7 !!
I cannot recollect doing anything closer to what they did when I was in Grade 2. They made up their own stories. Wow !

I would like to mention one thing which really touched my heart today – the stories had a villain and a super hero but at the end of each story the kids allowed the bad guys (witch, wolf, hunter) to join their clan ! They gave out such a strong message that Kindness goes a long way and what the world truly needs today is Kindness, Inclusion, Acceptance ! The children know ‘when you are kind you will win hearts’ ! Shows they are being absolutely well moulded , well shaped , well being made ready for the Future!

You are truly living up to the school tag line – ” A school where leaders Evolve “. You are building a powerful future India which will go a long way on the world map !

I am so proud that today Inaaya is not just academically at her best but also becoming so well socially aware ! The true PYP IB LEARNER qualities and living up to each of it !

They were awesome communicators ! So well putting accross the message ! They were caring – including everyone in their clan even after the villians being bad in the story!
They were risk takers – doing a light and sound show in front of an audience for the first time and HOW !! They were knowledgeable knowing everything what their current unit is about at the tip of their tongue !

All I would say is THANK YOU ! I AM SO PROUD TO HAVE MY CHILDREN AT FLAG !

A SCHOOL WHERE TRULY LEADERS EVOLVE ! KIND LEADERS ! OPEN MINDED LEADERS !

I take immense pleasure in writing this as an appreciation to all the teachers and FLAG team who were very supportive and helpful and would like to express my sincere gratitude for all the efforts you have taken during this unit share- ” The light and sound show”. The kids have done a marvellous job and all the teachers who were involved training them – hats off! We enjoyed each and every moment especially the sound effects made by the kids during the puppet show – it was just fabulous! Both the activity rooms were too good. I wasn’t aware that light has 7 colours . I guess we have lots to learn from our kids now.

I am so glad to learn this important concept of light and sound, outside the books and understanding them in real life. The kids were so well versed, even though I tried asking them tricky questions, they answered them all perfectly. Also the music, the lights and their chorus was perfectly in sync during the music too. Kids were taught poem in French, a new language which was also a big surprise for us.

I also thank you for encouraging kids to participate in all the class activities, which our kids thoroughly enjoy and they felt so proud to show us their learning to us.
Thank you for making this year bright, happy and full of learning – fun new things. We especially thank the teachers for bringing out the best in our kids.

We are sure that our children will grow up as good students in this school under the guidance of the teachers and FLAG team who are the support system as always. We always look forward to such wonderful, fun filled activities and events.
Thank you for all you do. You are appreciated more than you know!

I am writing this to come forward and appreciate to all the hard work and efforts which were put behind the extravagant Light and Sound Unit Share of Grade 2. To start off, the confidence of each child was outstanding. The Puppet show with such a hilarious twist was performed bang on. As we entered the classes, each child showcased each quality of light and sound brilliantly with well thought activities.

I am sure lot of efforts and discrete practice sessions have gone to put up the show.
Our teachers have been very supportive and given each child a chance to come out of their shell.

Thanking you and the entire PYP team for making our day so special. Awaiting more such surprises in the future.

Thank you
