On 7 April 2023, we celebrated World Health Day ̶ the World Health Organization observed its 75th birthday with the theme ‘Health for All’
WHO’s 75th anniversary year was an opportunity to look back at public health successes that have improved quality of life during the last seven decades. It was also an opportunity to motivate action to tackle the health challenges of today and tomorrow; for which we had with us Dr. Isha Bafna Jain to teach students, teachers and parents about holistic healing and healthy living. The kids were engaged and parents fine tuned with the information shared. A co-founder of Thoughtfoodz, on the idea of “food for thought”, she delivered not just information but shared solutions to overcome unhealthy eating.
Let’s get the coming generation better by influencing them to make the right health choices. Let’s just not focus on health for today but forever because someone rightly said, “Health is Wealth”.
This World Health Day, we dedicated our love to the School Nurse Sheetal Mandavkar. She was overwhelmed with the gratitude poured out to her by our PYP students in the form of flowers and cards. She’s our go to person always for any health concerns in school and we thank her for her love, care and dedication.
