This World Elephant Day, our Grade 6 students stepped into the world of human–elephant coexistence and explored an important question: How can we make space for wildlife while meeting human needs?
Through engaging real-life scenarios, students explored situations such as elephants entering villages and forests making way for roads and farms. They weighed different solutions, discussed their impact, and discovered that every choice can shape the future of wildlife. 
The learning then came to life as students designed their own elephant-friendly habitats, thoughtfully including forests, water sources, food, and safe pathways for elephants to move freely. 
Through discussion, decision-making, creativity, and collaboration, our young learners discovered that protecting elephants means protecting the habitats and ecosystems they call home.
