An enigmatic evening “
Echoes of the Past” so enticing, exuberant and an energetic annual show by the Middle,Secondary & High school students of Fazlani L’academic Globale. Held at the Nehru Centre Auditorium on Wednesday, 21st December 2022.
The evening was graced by the School Chairman Dr. A K Fazlani and School Managing Trustee Mr. Iqbal Fazlani alongwith the award winning legendary actress Miss Divya Dutta and dance maestro Mr Sandip Soparrkar. Our Senior Advisor Miss Farzana Dohadwalla and Chief Guest Miss Divya Dutta honoured our school Academic Director Sir Hosh and Head of School Miss Arwa Baldiwala,with ‘The Milestone Awards’ for completing 15 and 10 years respectively as well as a few other faculty members in this category of service.
Students were felicitated by Dr. A K Fazlani and Miss Arwa for outstanding achievement in academics.
The drama & dance musical extravaganza was a blast from the past as the primitive man travelled in his time machine to share the evolution of life on earth through the four house plays. These were woven around the legends namely Chanakya Rani Laxmibai, Charlie Chaplin and Queen Elizabeth II and how they inspired the protagonists of each play. The actors and hosts of the show were trained by the drama guru Sir Roomi assisted by Miss Avan while the dancing maestro Sir Sandip Soparrkar & his team got the students to put forth their dancing feet at its best.
This inter-house competition was co-judged by Miss Divya and Sir Sandip and most categories had twin winners proving that our star students were par excellence.
However, the best play trophy was awarded to the Navigator’s house and they also shared the award for the best group dance along with the Discovers house.
The show ended with the song ’Happy Ending’ that had all the 250 student participants together on stage, beckoning the X’mas season and the new year 2023 on a very cheerful and positive note.
