Our middle and senior school assembly was filled with excitement and energy as we welcomed special guests — the management team of Mumbai’s iconic Dabbawalas.
This century-old network is renowned for its flawless system of delivering nearly 200,000 home-cooked meals daily from homes to offices and schools across Mumbai.
Dressed in their traditional white attire and Gandhi caps, the team engaged our students with insightful lessons on grassroots management, emphasizing the power of customer focus, simplicity in operations, and employee ownership.
Students were truly inspired to explore the Dabbawala business model — a system that stands as a living case study of efficiency and dedication. The “men in white” have not only delivered meals but also served as role models for the next generation.
