Empowering Young Digital Citizens on Safer Internet Day!
Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally to promote safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology. It encourages young learners, educators and communities to work together in making the internet a better and safer place for everyone.
Today, our incredible 5th graders took the lead in spreading awareness about online safety to their younger peers! Through engaging discussions, creative posters and interactive role-plays, they highlighted the Dos and Don’ts of the Internet, ensuring that our digital world remains a safe and responsible space for all.
DOs:
Keep personal information private
Use strong passwords
Be kind and respectful online
Report anything suspicious to a trusted adult
DON’Ts:
Share passwords or personal details
Talk to strangers online
Click on unknown links or download from untrusted sources
Believe everything you see—fact-check first!
It was inspiring to see our students become digital role models, fostering a culture of safe and responsible internet use!
Let’s continue to make every day a Safer Internet Day!
