“The More You Read, The Better You Lead”.
PYP FLAG is committed to instilling the skill of reading and writing from the very onset of a student’s educational journey. As parents are the 1st teacher, we invited them to spend a day with us learning the fundamentals of reading. Involving and engaging parents in a variety of hands-on strategies like swat the letter, maze cards and app based games gave them a sneak peek into how reading looks like in learning spaces.
This parent- homeroom partnership will surely go a long way in creating avid readers in our school.
