In a world where answers are just one click away,the middle school students of Fazlani L’Academie Globale challenged their peers and facilitators by switching on their IQ buttons and playing along at the Quiz Wiz Contest – powered by knowledge on Wednesday,18th February.
Led by Quiz Master and Game Host -Mr. Hoshaang Gotla the quiz wizards represented their houses in teams after clearing the eliminations and making it to the finals.
In an attempt to revive quiz competitions for students, the excitement set in from the start where the teams experienced a range of rounds that included knowledge knockout ,visuals , peer pressure,pick your topic,rapid fire and waging the final score.
The who ,what ,why ,where and how kept the contestants on their toes and kept the audience engaged as the score board constantly fluctuated with numbers.
The battle of brains ,exhibited by some great team work was won by the Explorers House closely followed by the Navigators as runners up.
Participation certificates were presented to all finalists and a special mention was awarded to those students whose engagement and enthusiasm in General knowledge sessions was notable throughout the academic year.
The proverb, “Knowledge is like a garden, it not cultivated it cannot be harvested” came to light and life at this event.
