PITCH PERFECT-2.0 at FLAG celebrated on Monday, 21st April to commemorate World Creativity and Innovation Day was a near perfect presentation by our young entrepreneurs of grade 8.
A simulation of the show Shark Tank,the event was a culmination of the Communications Skills program conducted in the Middle School serving as a platform to showcase the essential skills developed along the course of experiential learning.
Our esteemed invitees and sharks Mr. Sanjay Lal (Managing Director and CEO Asset Group) and Mr.Shreyaan Daga (Founder of Online Live Learning ) graced the morning with their presence and shared their expertise on entrepreneurship and communications.
The young innovators and ideators had the audience of parents and teachers hooked from the word ‘go’ as each team pitched their product / service through storytelling,dramatic narration and visual prototypes.
From catchy group names to interesting branding and marketing ideas,the team of founders aimed to align their vision with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and had the sharks so impressed with their passion, that they even made some good offers for investments in the aspiring startups.
It was very heartwarming and encouraging as one of our sharks stated that witnessing the event reassured him that the ‘future is in good hands’ and that we as parents and teachers must continue to ensure to guide them along the way.
To sum up the morning of the last lap of this academic year,we as a team can proudly say that our students stayed true to the quote
“The best way to predict the future is … to INVENT it!”
