The Parent PYP morning at FLAG was a collaborative learning session to build a shared understanding of our mission statement and essential PYP elements.
We believe that everyone in the learning community has agency, see themselves as contributors to its ongoing strengths and success, and take action to affect change. Establishing successful partnership with parents can bring diverse perspectives to our learning spaces and successful implementation of the PYP programme.
Parents enjoyed getting into the seat of our students and engaging in some hands-on learning about the IB Learner Profile and International mindedness, ATL skills, Action and Social emotional learning. They shared with us that it was like living a day in a PYP classroom.
It was surely a morning filled with lots of learning, brainstorming, sharing and growing on our understanding together as a community.
