Middle school Republic Day celebration

Republic Day marks the adoption of the constitution of India and the transition of the country to a republic on January 26, 1950. Every year, the celebrations marking the day features spectacular military and cultural pageantry.

At FLAG, our middle school students celebrated our 73rd Republic Day by immersing themselves in the era of our great leaders & ingraining in themselves the vivacious fighting spirit of our National Heroes.

Students played kahoot, where they assessed their knowledge on Republic Day and the constitution. Moving forward, they played a memory game, wherein they matched the freedom fighters to the independence slogan written by them. Going further, we had merged images of 2 freedom fighters, and the students identified the 2 freedom fighters and undoubtedly, they did an amazing job.

Lastly, a video on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Azad Hind Fauj was shown to them. They reflected their thoughts on the video using various visible thinking routines – Circle of viewpoints, Feelings and options. Students also created posters with slogans.

Our students were filled with pride, as they recognised the foresight of India’s great leaders and visionaries.

Jai Hind!!
