Middle School- Bastille Day Celebrations

La vie est faites de petits bonheurs!” Life is full of little pleasures!

This Bastille Day, the stage was set for Grade 6 to perform their rendition of the French Revolution, in honour of the French independence movement. After the virtual performance, our students enjoyed touring through well-known cities of France, tempting our taste buds with the French cuisine, celebrating festivals and sharing fun anecdotes about them with their classmates.

Grade 7 celebrated the Fête Nationale by deriving happiness from the simpler things in life. They had a wonderful time resourcefully and creatively repurposing discarded items from home, to create the French flag. Students melodiously sang Aux Champs-Élysées and enthusiastically dabbled in French music.

Students of Grade 8 spent the day conversing only in French! They dressed up in bleu, blanc, rouge and performed verses from poems & monologues that brought us all so much delight!

Our students revelled in celebrating Bastille Day, the FLAG way!
