International Peace Day

Today we celebrate ‘International Peace Day’ as a symbolic gesture that reminds the world of the possibility of peace in all walks of life.

Our homerooms had a buzzing conversation around “What peace means to me….” after the read aloud stories that emphasised on the concept of peace and empathy. To our young changemakers, peace is as small as getting a hug from their mom or as big as visualising a more harmonious world around them.

Students created an artistic representation of Peace through a collective Peace Pledge wall and a Peace Wheel which symbolises a beacon of hope for a more just world.

By celebrating this day, we are manifesting the idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – ‘The world is one family’ and striving for a more inclusive world bringing in lots of harmony, unity and togetherness.
