International Mother Language Day

As stated by Nelson Mandela “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”

This International Mother Language Day, we at PYP FLAG, honoured the linguistic diversity of the learning community by inviting Mystery Readers to our homerooms.

The stories read in different languages like Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Marwadi brought a joy of learning and at the same time highlighted how languages can deepen the connection to other cultures, thus sowing the seeds of international- mindedness. We are proud to be a Multilingual community.
