As we approach the International Day of Peace 2025, we at FLAG kickstarted actions and initiatives for peace, mobilizing efforts in embracing diversity in communities and globally.
Keeping this spirit in mind we organised a session for our students of grade 6 led by guest speaker Ms Ashveta Budhrani.
Ms. Budhrani is a celebrity music photographer and founder of The Blue Soul – Accessibility Art & Design House who advocates that creative philosophy is rooted in the belief that **art is not a spectacle but a bridge **
Having recently visited Dharamshala, where she had the honour of meeting the Nobel Peace Prize Winner and Leader Dalai Lama, the interactive session enabled our students to revisit their inner peace and connect it to the world outside, by virtue of creative mediums like art and photography.
With toffees being shared for every answer, grade 6 imbibed the sharings and learnings that touch, sound, memory and presence are primary languages of communication and redefine what it means to be included—not as an afterthought, but as the starting point.
We are sure that our attempt of building a stronger foundation for a peaceful world , though may be a stop in the ocean, will be worth the ripples it creates.
