Guest Speaker – Commander Abhishek Kankan shared his milestones with our grade 7 & 8 students with such pride and enthusiasm.
The teaching and student community at FLAG, salute the commander for sharing his journey from being a part of the fearless Marcos team (the elite fighting force), to what he learned as a submariner and to the skills he achieved as a scuba diver. He mesmerised all with his story of the mountaineer – from cool to hot, to acclimatization and to the world of dolphins to yeti which finally helped him summit Mt’ Everest.
The largest takeaway for us as a school as quoted by the commander was, “Every organisation and individual strives to achieve the Mt’ Everest in their respective fields.”
This session today, truly helped our students with an ocean of new insightful learnings.
