Grade 8 – Graduation Day

Bidding adieu is never easy ….

20th May 2021, saw grade 8 students of Fazlani L’Academie Globale graduate. Their 3 year long, middle school journey ended with a virtual and splendidly planned graduation ceremony.

It sure was a day of mixed emotions, feelings of both sadness and joy filled our hearts.
Sadness because this sure was the most responsible, resilient and an enthusiastic batch that will be missed. Joy, because they will now enter the Cambridge IGCSE program, that promises them with productive and challenging learning opportunities.

This festive ceremony was graced by students and the dedicated faculty members of FLAG. The students were addressed and blessed by our Academic Director Mr Husien Dohawalla, followed by our Head of the School Ms Arwa Baldiwala. Our Middle School Coordinator, Ms Tasneem spoke with fondness about this special batch of students who she mentored throughout the 3 years.

Student reflections only added more value to the entire event.
We had Samaira Sheikh of 8A and Yahyaa Fazlani of 8B share heart felt memories of their time spent during the middle school years.

The evening was filled with an array of innovative games planned and compèred by none other than our Adventure Specialist Mr Astad.
Some special moments that will always be cherished, saw the homeroom teachers (HRT) who nurtured this grade speak their heart out.

The HRT of Grade 8A, Miss Kavita regaled the audience with a lovely poem. The HRT of Grade 8B, Miss Babita shared her fond memories from the year and blessed the students.

It was an outstanding evening for all and as Mahatma Gandhi said: “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.
