Grade 7 students had an exciting Pi Day celebration filled with math fun! They began with an introduction to Pi (π), learning about its significance in geometry, particularly in finding the area/perimeter of circles. The highlight of the day was the Pi Battle Challenge. Students were given a grid and tasked with placing Pi symbols in such a way that each row, column, and irregular region contained exactly one Pi symbol. The catch? The symbols couldn’t touch each other horizontally, vertically, or diagonally! It was a thrilling puzzle-solving experience that combined logic, strategy, and Pi, making learning engaging and memorable!
