Grade 6 visit to Forganic Farms

Our students of grade 6  visited Forganic Farms on Friday, 18th August 2023 as they unravelled the bounty of nature in its abundance.

The trek enabled them to better understand the ecosystems and biodiversity, the conservation of sustainable greens and the interconnectedness between nature and mankind.

As they trailed along they were led to the different water bodies namely waterfalls, ponds, streams and rivers. They delighted themselves watching the beauty of the birds and butterflies in their natural habitat as they explored the jungle.

Students engaged themselves with agricultural farming, sapling plantation and vermicomposting through a fulfilling hands-on experience. The day was filled with challenging obstacle courses and adventure activities. The entire trek resonated with the quote’ In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks ’- John Muir.
