Grade 6- International Self Care Day

Taking the week forward  with the theme of International Self Care, Tuesday 23 July was a day booked for laughter for our young learners of grade 6.

At FLAG  we strongly believe that self-care is vital to the foundation of our health and to prioritise the impact it makes on our well being and our immune systems,a stimulating session was led by Ms. Sheetal Agarwal, founder of Clown Selors Foundation.

An expert  in the field of medical clowning  and spreading laughter she had the students laughing away uproariously with her antics and cheerful personality. Student engagement was evident as they were drawn  towards the different games and movement activities that were all directed at emphasising on self love .  They also felt a sense of warm bonding with each other as they relieved their worries and sad emotions subconsciously  through this restorative session.

We are certain that our young learners returned back to continue their day on a much happier and cheerful note, truly believing that ‘Laughter is the best medicine’.
