As a mark of honour and to pay tribute to the soldiers in uniform for their pivotal role in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and integrity, a momentous occasion was recreated by our grade 8 students through a creative activity in art and craft.
Using corrugated sheets with a soldier cut out, students enhanced their learning of the entire ingenious process by using innovative resources such as toothpicks to achieve the result. This enabled them to also understand about the medium used for the creation and to be actively involved as a team and recognise their own tactile and sensory experiences.
Learning at FLAG ensures living upto the quote “Creativity is intelligence having fun”.
