Keeping the spirit of collaborative learning in mind,the ICT students of grade 9 conducted a session on E -Safety for the students of Grade 5,under the able guidance of their ICT facilitator on Monday 20th March, 2023
The topics that were covered emphasised the importance of online privacy,cyberbullying and clarity was provided on terms like encryption, authentication etc. A short skit to raise awareness about online safety and practices to encourage good digital citizenship habits had the young audience engaged and interested.The session ended with a quiz on the presentation and students eagerly participated,as they received a chocolate reward for every correct answer.
The PYP teaching faculty who attended the session,suggested that informative cross class learning sessions like these should be organised more often,as mentor -mentee sessions lead to productive learning outcomes.
