Conserve for Climate Ad Campaign

Climate-smart conservation puts climate change at the heart of conservation management. Our goal at FLAG was to find ways to address the climate risks that animals, ecosystems, and local communities face holistically. Our grade 8 students presented the project ‘Conserve for Climate Ad Campaign’ on Thursday, 21st March. This was achieved after a month of active collaboration with the students of Mountbatten School, Hampshire, U.K. coordinated by the Pomegranate Workshop and Global School Exchange, U.K  under the guidance of their geography teacher.

Students were divided into small groups as they worked on forward-facing initiatives with an eye on the future by focusing on the climate situation in their own cities. The process involved learning to make storyboards through research and eventually creating an ad film whereby they experimented with various technical tools and the art of production. Different scenarios with hard hitting messages were shared with the parents. Each group then pledged to ensure that they would consciously do their bit towards this cause and encouraged parents also to pledge their support. We hope our mission to protect and hand on  a greener planet to the next generation becomes a reality!
