Children’s Day

Fazlani L’Academie Globale’s Children’s Day celebration had our stars .. our children shine bright in broad daylight on Monday,14th November at the South Hall, Maker Arcade. An ode to Chacha Nehru, whose love for children continues to be remembered fondly ,the school hosted the Flag Fete, a fun & fair for our children across grades 2 to 12 with the theme being ‘Our Celestial Constellation… Our Stars .. Our Children’. The Middle,Secondary and High School faculty along with the senior student council was instrumental in ideation and creation of 16 games that included fun and virtual reality challenges. The games were named after constellations to create an element of intrigue and uniqueness.Students were seen having a field day and the ambience was filled with ‘hurrahs’,’cheers’ and ‘once more’ as children shuffled from one stall to another attempting the different fun games. A spread of yummy’ bites of delight’ to satiate the taste buds was also organised for the teachers and students. However, the highlight of the day was seeing the deaf and mute students from LTMG school enjoy these experiences which were new to their being. The sparkle in their eyes and the shiver in their walk were seen as they visited every game stall with delight. Our grade 11 students were their guide and mentor for the day. As they exited with a box of goodies, with the help of their hand movements and facial expressions thanked us with a gesture that said, “We still are blessed.”

The day was one full of fun, laughter and music which indeed brought out the child in all those present, making it a ‘gift of joy’ to go down FLAG’s memory lane.
