The Maharashtra State Cultural Policy 2010 marks February 27 as ‘Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Diwas’ in honour of the valuable contributions to the literary and cultural fields made by poet Shri Vishnu Vishwanath Shirwadkar popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’.
On this auspicious occasion of Marathi Language Day, we came together to honour the essence of the beautiful Marathi language and its culture. Embracing the roots, we find strength. The Marathi language, a treasure trove of history and art, connects us through generations.
Marathi language is a celebration of our state Maharashtra’s heritage, a reflection of identity and a source of immense pride. Today, let’s take a moment to cherish the diversity and depth that Marathi literature and language bring to our lives.
Let’s continue to promote and preserve the richness of Marathi, not just today but every day.
