Morning assemblies are a part of every school’s culture often focused on do’s, don’ts, and endless rules. But at FLAG, we believe less is more and that quality always beats quantity. That’s why we have just one impactful assembly per month for our middle and high school students designed to inspire, not just inform.
Our assemblies begin with a moment of respect for our anthems whether it’s the National Anthem or Maharashtra’s. We share meaningful monthly updates, followed by a value-based learning narrative that sparks reflection and conversation. And of course, we believe learning should be fun! So we end with a gamified learning experience that our students look forward to the most.
This month of July, we wrapped it all up with Ed Sheeran’s Sapphire but not before we quizzed our students about the song. Because at FLAG, assemblies are where knowledge meets fun, they’re moments of shared energy, laughter, and lifelong lessons.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way!
