Fazlani L’Academie Globale’s Navrang Utsav hosted by the students of Grade 11 along with the members of the Interact Club Bombay Bayview and teachers of grades 6 to 12 on Friday,11th October was an amalgamation of colours and flavours.
Staying true to its theme,the food stalls were lit up with the nine hues of the Navratri festival while bringing out the essence of the cuisines on sale through its decor and layout. To add to the ambience, rangoli designs were made by students groups of the classes from 6 to 9 as a part of an inter class competition.
Our special invite and judge, Dr. Santosh Kshirsagar, Ex Dean at Sir J.J.Institute of Applied Arts was left wowed as he had the task of declaring the winning teams from the best dressed food stall and rangoli design.
The stalls were buzzing with excitement with the yum delights vanishing
as students and teachers were seen relishing the treats.The fun and joy eventually culminated towards the joy of giving as all the proceeds from the sales were donated to the underprivileged children from Foundation Roti Bank.
Truly, it is in giving that we receive!
