Students of Grade 4 are currently inquiring into the magical world of Media. To delve deeper into their wonderings and curiosities, we invited some renowned Guest speakers to make broader connections with what they are learning.
Ms Fatema Bearingwala, from the CNBC and CNBC Awaaz news channel, virtually connected with the students and explained how news channels deliver authentic information to the viewers that helps them to stay updated about local, national, and global affairs. She also highlighted how news is relayed in different languages.
Mr Rizwan Shaikh and Mrs Karishma Mehta from VFX Industry came in as guest speakers to help the students understand how media plays an important role in the entertainment industry. They made us knowledgeable about how VFX is used to add visual elements to moving media that does not happen during live-action filming.
These sessions are surely exposing and extending students’ thinking and learning in a new direction.
