Fazalini L’Acadmie Globale hosted the Declamation Speech Competition for the students of grade 8 on Tuesday, 28th March.
The energy in the multi purpose was high with power packed and stellar speeches by the students ,with topics ranging across ‘Is punishing a bully a good idea? Artificial Intelligence (AI),Social media and effects on teenagers and social pressure and How does technology damage nature even more?
Thought provoking and well researched speeches delivered with enthusiasm that conveyed messages with clarity, emotion and persuasiveness were received with much applause.
The Judge Miss Annaita Madon was impressed with the confidence exuded and she encouraged the students by emphasising on the importance of participation.
‘Certificates of Achievement’ were awarded for the top three positions and ‘Certificates of Participation’ were presented to the performers.
The school leadership continues to offer opportunities as such and students are mentored under the able guidance of the Drama Teacher, ensuring to equip students with skills that will hold them in good stead in life.
The morning ended on a cheerful note with a feeling of pride for all the parents, teachers and students present.
