The National Jarul Book Award empowers and honours children’s voice and choice of contemporary Indian picture books. It is designed to promote Indian Literature and honour the best in children’s picture books.
The final awards were held at American School of Bombay. Our school students were a part of the committee who read, selected and nominated the best picture book.
The students took autographs and photographs with the winning author ‘Janaki Sabesh’ for her extraordinary book ‘Paati’s Rasam’, a gentle story of grief and loss.
