The new year for our grade 6 students started with a guest speaker talk led by
Mr Amrut Deshmukh, popularly known as the ‘Booklet Guy’, and the one who has been awarded the ‘Youth Icon 2020’.
Mr Deshmukh introduced students to the art of reading and in turn they were intrigued by his passion and Mission which states, “Make India Read.”
Our students were amazed to learn that Mr Deshmukh could summarise any book into a 20 minute audio.
Not only did he talk to them about cultivating reading habits but also about his mobile app called ‘Booklet’. He already has 20 lakh young users reading books with him on this free app developed by him.
Our students thoroughly enjoyed the interactive session.
It was indeed an inspiring and motivational start to the week.
