The theme this year for International Tiger day is ‘Their Survival is in our Hands. The Tiger is an ‘Umbrella Animal’ because its conservation in the same area protects several other animals. When tigers are safe, we protect ourselves. So we must conserve our tigers for the conservation of nature.
With this beautiful discussion on the importance of the tigers in the food chain, the students of Grade 6 at Fazlani L’Academie Globale made some beautiful bookmarks using origami. Their aim was to spread awareness of this majestic and beautiful cat species which needs to be protected from poachers and allowed to live in its natural habitat. Keeping in mind the theme of Tiger Day they expressed their concern on the importance of creating awareness through their bookmarks with lovely captivating slogans.
