The champions have been crowned and the world has witnessed yet another spectacular chapter in football history. At FLAG,the FIFA World Cup Highlights assembly conducted for our middle school learners was a fantastic closure to this season,strongly reiterating that “Football is not just a game; it is a language that unites the world.”
Our students and teachers relived the unforgettable moments from the finale by not only witnessing spectacular goals and breathtaking saves, but also understanding how sports brings together people and that a strong character is built through fair play,teamwork, perseverance, discipline, courage and respect.
As our young learners reflected on the life lessons that this beautiful game teaches us on and off the field, the message that came out loud and clear was that together we can achieve something extraordinary because… “Talent wins games, but teamwork, discipline and character win championships.”–Michael Jordan
