Through a creative and engaging session students of Grade 8 presented a song and skit on Rare Earth Elements explaining the use of metallic elements in modern technology, difficulty in mining them and how their extraction can cause damage to the environment. The skit also stressed the need for recycling e-waste to conserve valuable resources and reduce environmental harm.
Further to extend support to the Global Recycling Foundation, students of grade 6 were addressed by the Kindness Ambassador Mr.Rushabh Turakhia who shared 10 sustainable practices that can be implemented.Students also learnt how to create cloth bags from old tee shirts and making pen stands & flower vases from old bottles.
Plastic and E-waste Collection Drive was initiated and students were further motivated by awarding the class that collected the maximum recyclable waste.
