Stepping into the new year
We heard applauses and cheer
A drama showcase , one of its kind
A morning full of laughter
Bringing joy to the heart and mind !!!
“Showcase” , the word comes from the idea of ‘showing of’, and our grade 8 students indeed did , revealing work that was crafted in the quiet of their grade 8 homerooms.
Our grade 8 performers were explorers, detectives, and alchemists, turning text into truth, and questions into character.
Most importantly they showcased the importance of “POP” that is performance over props
No elaborate sets.. but the audience witnessed extraordinary communication skills
No elaborate props but the audience definitely witnessed soaring confidence and acting skills.
Each child added their bit of tadka and masala to spice up the event
And the audience couldn’t resist !
Their laughter and applause fuelled the morning, further motivating and encouraging our performers .
