At FLAG we observed the 10th National Reading Day on Thursday ,19th June under the theme “Reading, Connecting People Across Generations in Society”.
Highlighting the power of reading to foster understanding and connection across different age groups and to recognize the contributions of P. N. Panicker for promoting literacy in Kerala, our student and teacher team ensured to support the reading campaign as they read, reflected and reclaimed their minds.
While recognising the plentiful benefits of reading, they picked their favourite authors and travelled with the characters to feel their emotions, experience their story and further students even read to their grandparents and siblings.
It was very encouraging to come together and celebrate that one best friend that we can always have for life .. for keeps .. our books!
