FLAG Partners with KSHITIJ NGO in Mumbai

We at FLAG strongly believe that empowered women empower women and to commemorate International Women’s Day 2025 we  partnered with KSHITIJ, an NGO from MUMBAI.

Founded  in 1996 by four mothers for their differently abled children,Kshitij provides a sheltered nurturing workplace enabling vocational training and gainful engagement.

Aligning with this year’s theme ‘Accelerate Action to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women’,our   invitees were the stars of the afternoon as they presented a dance performance with great enthusiasm & confidence and left us all in awe, applauding them from our hearts.

The story of their journey that was shared by a founder parent was simply one of courage, grit and humanity.

This was followed by a sale of handmade gift items, food treats  and goodies created by them through their key skills development program wholeheartedly supported by our teachers. It was a treat to  witness  the buzz and  excitement at the stalls as  bags were being filled with the purchases.

A heartfelt ode from our Academic Director Sir Hosh to all the women present filled each one with renewed hope along with words  of encouragement from our heads of school, Ms. Arwa and Ms Mahera.

In the words of  Maya Angelou ‘Each time a woman stands up for herself she stands up for all women’ was a living example at FLAG!
