The Grade 7 students of Fazlani L’Academie Globale embarked on a memorable journey in the month of February exploring the vibrant heritage of Punjab and the serene beauty of Himachal Pradesh.
The trip began by visiting the iconic Golden Temple at Amritsar that mesmerised our students with its serene atmosphere and beauty.
The journey continued to Dalhousie, a picturesque hill station in the Himalayas where they soaked in the scenic scenes via visits to Dalhousie Point, St. Francis Church, Subhash Baoli, Panchpulla and Satdhara.
At Khajjiar, the “Mini Switzerland of India,” students bonded over throwball games and an exciting snow fight, with steaming hot Maggi adding warmth to the chilly weather.
Back in Amritsar, patriotism soared high during the Beating Retreat ceremony at Wagah Border despite the rainfall.The visit to Jallianwala Bagh deepened their understanding of India’s freedom struggle, followed by a lively shopping experience in Amritsar’s bustling markets.
At Sada Pind students got a glimpse of Punjab’s traditional lifestyle through folk dances,magic shows, games and traditional cuisine.
Overall the trip offered a perfect opportunity to explore and educate our young learners as they accumulated enriching experiences.
