World Privacy Day

Protecting Our Privacy: A Lesson from Just Be Kind Club

January 28 is World Privacy Day, a reminder to keep our personal information safe in today’s digital world. While it’s okay to share our interests, we must be careful not to share details like full names, addresses, or phone numbers. Keeping this information private helps protect us from identity theft and unwanted risks.

As part of their kindness initiative, members of the Just Be Kind Club (JBK) led a session on data privacy for their Grade 5 peers. Through this, they helped young learners understand why protecting personal information online is so important.

At FLAG, we believe that raising awareness and building digital responsibility empowers students to navigate the online world safely and smartly.
