A team of students from Grade 7 led an assembly on 17th January to celebrate the life and legacy of Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
The interactive presentation highlighted his contributions to American history and culture, including his pivotal role in the American Revolution and the drafting of the Declaration of Independence.
Various stalls showcased Franklin’s achievements as a polymath and his excellence in the fields of science, literature, politics, and philosophy.
Students from Grades 5, 6, and 7 explored these stalls, gaining insight into Franklin’s inventions through hands-on experiential learning activities that kept them both engaged and entertained.
It was truly a morning at FLAG that embodied Franklin’s famous quote: “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
