February 14 marks itself as ‘Black Friday’ for our nation, when 40 CRPF personnel were attacked by a suicide bomber who rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the Indian military convoy travelling from Jammu to Srinagar.
In commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the Pulwama attack, our students at FLAG paid a tribute of love to the martyred soldiers through a story telling shadow act.
The association of the two events sensitised the student community on the loss of a loved one and how it can change the entire course of lives for the families and friends of the deceased soldiers.
It was very encouraging to watch our students experience the feelings of patriotism and promote the virtue of selfless service and love on this day.
Lastly, let’s not forget that on a day that celebrates love (Valentines day), our students chose to express their love for the nation and deep gratitude for those who laid down their lives to protect it, reminding us that true love also means sacrifice, courage, and unwavering devotion
